Book Reading & Art Display – Saturday, September 3, 2022

I am jumping the broom on this one. The book has been published and released August 1, 2022. It’s time to get out there and personally share, aka “marketing.” While nervous, I will make this first event my dress rehearsal and share my artwork (doddles and drawings) in a grand display, give a 20-minute (not more than 30 minutes) reading of specific parts of the book, and save time for a Q & A at the end of the event.

Promotional Flyer for the Book Reading & Art Display

Most of the details are included in the above flyer. Stay tuned for additional details about the event. Mark you calendars, tell your friends, plan to spend as much time as you wish prior to heading out for the Saturday night activities. Event is scheduled for an “open” start at 4:00 pm.

Art Display

The 4-4:30 pm open time will give attendees time to view the 17×22 art pieces that are included in the book, Dung Bag Road, A Personal Account of Depression and Recovery. Prints will be available for purchase and snacks will be provided. The book reading will begin at 4:30 pm.

Book Reading

Book reading will be limited to not more than 30 minutes. Selections will be made ahead of time (so I can practice speaking fluidly). Suggestions will be taken via separate posts on Facebook, so look for those requests.

Books

If you have not had a chance to purchase your book already, they will be available for purchase directly from the author for the price of $15 (retail is $22, so it’s a deal you don’t want to miss). If you purchased you book already, bring it by and I will be happy to apply my signature at no charge! The Hubs and I discussed the First 100 Special Discount and we both agree it is our goal to get as many books “out there” for folks to view and decided to maintain the special discount price at this time.

More Information

This is an event in motion and I am diligently preparing to have my vision put into action. Please check back from now up until the event for any updates or news. Once again, thank you for your support on this very personal endeavor.
