JUST A MAN AND HIS TOYS

The Hubs, The Grandchildren, The Broman, and The Book

The Hubs just working on the Titanic

The Hubs

It’s what we do on a Friday afternoon. My man working on his toy lego, the Titanic. He was so proud to save up enough Lego points to be able to purchase the Titanic and almost half the price. Yippie! No, for real, this is a good thing. You see, this is a family habit, so it’s ok.

The Grandchildren

The grandchildren visited us for about 10 days before their parents joined us. We put together a Harry Potter lego set and an Encanto lego set. The twins were very helpful and interested in putting them together. They had more patience and coordination than last year, when they were 4. At 5 years old don’t you think they are ready to move up from the Duplo blocks and level up to the master lego sets!

The BroMan

BroMan, my brother Roman, did not miss out on the Lego fun. He and I sat and put together a Star Wars lego set. Marvel mini figures will be the set we will put together next. He picked them out; after I steered him over to what was in our budget at this time.

The Book

That leaves me. You see that computer at the bottom right of the picture of the Hubs and his Titanic? (LOL, stop!) While he sorts and punches together legos to complete the last box of the Titanic, I pound on the keyboard. The plan is to create a Companion Book to my soon-to-be released book – Dung Bag Road: A Personal Account of Depression and Recovery.

My publisher indicated that the book would be uploaded today, at which time I would get an opportunity to “review” the book online (ingramspark.com) to see if all the words are in their proper place. If so, I let her know and she will then order an actual book for her and one for me to be sent in the mail to us. Once we receive the actual book, I’ll have another opportunity to “review” and “approve”. What happens after that – a release date! Ahwwwwww.

The date I’ve been waiting for, and I hope you will be too.
